no doubt...if Bush is there at #2, we should be talking picks this year and next year. And we'd get it to. Everyone assumes Bush is gone after the first 15 mins, imagine the pissing their pants GMs around the league would do if *BING* he's still there.

I still can't get behind any trade that drops us out of the top 5. Trade with NY, then GB if you want, but after that...no one that helps right now, 100% One way or the other, we should be coming away with at least Williams, and at most Hawk or Ferguson.

And if we waste a 1st rounder on a RB I swear to God I'll take up cricket.

Believe it or not, yes.

I understand the talent he is and it is rare, and that makes it even more tempting...but we just invested alot into Deuce and he's been a good troop. He put up with the twoTE bulls*** and all else. We can just get so much more in future value for the pick if Bush is there, we'd just have to pass on him.

With Bush there, we could even (reaching, I know) get Walker and the #5 from GB. I mean, Ted Thompson is the GM.

It's painful, but sometimes you just have to make the deal...and hope you didn't just take Bowie over Jordan

I think what's even more painful than giving up a talent like Bush, is giving up a person like bush...he seems like, from all I've read, to be a genuine great person.

....just like bonds....

Maybe with all the eateries closed because of Hurricane Katrina, he & Sully can go on a diet.

The Saints need to draft Vernon Davis, TE Maryland who offers speed, offensive blocking, another pass receiver. He will be an impact player to whoever drafts him.

wow... only took 2 years for him to make is first post... he must really want vernon davis badly... i dont think it would be too bad... i would rather hawk or ferg or williams more but davis wouldnt be a bad player in our offense which should use the TE more often now that we have a QB...
