Fine distinction Xan. "Best football player available" - that is what I would have said, if I'd recognized your distinction.

Especially with where our team is at, we don't need projects. Thus, my belief that D'Brick might be the best pick for us.

My point about taking Marquee players was about potential trade value. These guys, like Leinhart or Bush, will command good value until they start playing - thus, picking them allows to formulate a trade we like. I guess, it is my feeling that trading down is only good IF we get someone who can play and additional valuable picks. I'm just as happy (probably more happy) for a player for player trade (and possibly future considerations), than trading for additional unproven picks.
