I, for one, am going to be so very happy to watch the draft unfold for us. It has been beyond frustrating to sift through all the scenarios involved for Day One and am ready to move forward to talking about how we did or didn't help this team in the draft. Of the top players, I only feel three of them are players the Saints could or should pick : AJ Hawk, D'Brickashaw Ferguson or Mario Williams. Anyone other than those three in my opinion would be a wasted pick - unless picking Leinart or Bush would garner us more draft picks in Rounds 1-3. I feel that Jay Cutler, Vince Young and Vernon Davis are going to be pretty good pros, just NOT on THIS team. The lovefests for so many players have been, in some cases across the web and the country, comical at best.

My pick ??? Personally I'm hoping for Hawk to become a Saint, although getting D'Brick wouldn't bother me.
