More info on Fisk;

Fisk, 33, who played last season for Cleveland, also was scheduled to visit New Orleans this week. At this stage of his career Fisk is best when used as a situational player on first and second down. Cleveland was forced to use him more often last season, and he wore down as the season progressed. He's a nose tackle, but at 6-3, 300, gets by more on technique than power.

Fisk would let sully switch to other side and fisk then could come off the bench to let sully and young get a break. he has played both well. I would like it and pick up some (2) DT in the draft to learn and I hope they are taller than 6-2 for the passing downs.

I second that.

I don't know what this guy would bring to the table. At least with Woodard we got a defensive tackle who weighed 20 more pounds than Brian Young and Willie Whitehead, and as a result, will give us more of a run-stuffing force. This guy weighs the same as those two, and doesn't seem to be an upgrade over either BY or Whitehead...

You could still bring him in to compete. He might surprise us.

I like the pickup, this gives us a chance to rotate the DTs and keep them fresh all season. And with Sully's fat butt Gawd knows he will need the break.
