Great news with picking up Boykin. I'd seen Scouts, Inc. project him going to us in like the 4th or 5th round. Here's a little info:

Boykin started nine games during his senior season in 2005, when he recorded 9.5 tackles-for-loss as well as three sacks. Boykin has the power and quickness to develop into a productive reserve in the NFL. However, he lacks ideal size and he needs to improve his overall technique. Boykin grades out as a fourth or fifth round talent, but character and durability concerns could cause him to slip beyond that point in the 2006 draft.
