I'll be happy with 11 wins this year and build on that..

I give us 10 wins. I think we will get to play with a strong discipline that will give us at least 3 of those wins. Anyone who was pissed at our penalties knows what I'm talking about.

Quite a bit of it will also hinge on how many games Brees has to miss at the beginning. I hope none, but if hedoes, do you think we have the offense and QB to keep us up until he gets in?

we have a tough schedule next year, ill be happy with 8-8

8-8 would be a much improvement but I think Benson and his new staff expect better than that, and as a fan I do too, I just want to see improvement, I don't expect to win the SB but don't want us to be 4-12 either...

I think Reggie will be directly responsible for 3 wins this year (total yds from scrimmage and TD's).

8 wins would be very good. 6 seems more likely. Any injuries at all probably drop us to 4.

If everything goes well especially in the health department....I don't see why we can't make the playoffs. Once we sign Bush you realize we will now possess a seriously fast and effective offense. Remember the Rams? All the offense in the world....mediorcre defense...end result???? Super Bowl. Now I won't say big dance until next year or so but I would not be surprised for us to win a lot of games this year and make it to the post-season.

Um, no. You are not only drinking the kool-aid, you stole the bowl. We should be improved, and we are heading in the right direction, but Brees and Reggie Bush alone does not close the gap Tampa and Carolina in our own division already had on us. I think we can hang with the Falcons. Again, improved, but playoffs? LAy off da sauce. :beer: :wink:

We have way too many question marks to think that we can make the playoffs. I do think we will be competetive in most of our games and i do think we will pull off a couple of upsets, but this team is still a ways away from being a contender...but i will say this...they are going to be fun to watch...unlike the last 3 years.

There might be some truth to this but the good news is it gets better the rest of the way not worst and to me that's BIG !!!
It's fun just to watch them rebuild the team.

Also with our division getting better, we are a little behind them. All three are putting together good defenses, with Keyshawn in carolina, tampa's defense, and ATL adding some beasts on D, it will be a tough division.

It has always been tough the past few years but now we'll be in the mix.
