It seems strange to me that there will be 2 once in a lifetime players go in back to back drafts. Maybe they are a couple of good runningbacks, and maybe, just maybe, before we die, we will see another "once in a lifetime player"

Giggle if you want, it won't make it any less true. He's single handedly carried that team his entire career. Great size, great speed, great power. He's not a great receiver, but he's in that Jim Brown mold. I imagine Bill Cowher is scheming to get him right now.

If we disagree with an opinion, we ridicule. Is that the way it works?

Just checkin'.

You don't think Payton's already foaming at the mouth to draft Landry?

It was the comparison to Jim Brown. Peterson had one dominant year 2 years ago as a freshman when nobody knew who he was in a weaker Big 12 conference than normal. Comparing someone to Jim Brown after 1 good year was (at least to me) hilarious. No offense BMG. We all have our own opinions.

I don't know. Possibly. I just thought it was a bold statement for something a year off, that's all. Thanks for your useful info overall. Interesting stuff.
