Falcons re-sign receiver Pathon
May 10, 2006 CBS SportsLine.com wire reports FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Atlanta Falcons re-signed wide receiver and return specialist Jerome Pathon on Wednesday. Pathon played in eight games for the Falcons last season, catching one pass for 18 yards and returning three kickoffs for 54 yards. He has 260 receptions for 3,350 yards and 15 touchdowns in his eight-year career. Pathon caught 34 passes for 581 yards and one score in 2004 for New Orleans. A friend of mine that was a LB at Nichols St would pay to get his hands on on Pathon. A couple years ago he was watching a Hornets game. The camera showed the crowd and there was his wife sitting next to Pathon.
The divorce was soon after. This friend would more than likely excellerate Pathon's exit from the NFL very quickly. |
