NFLEurope.com reports New Orleans Saints LB Russel Rabe was named Defensive Player of NFL Europe Week 9. He recorded six tackles and two sacks for 18 yards during his club's second successive victory, a 13-10 triumph over the Rhein Fire. Rabe plays for the Hamburg Sea Devils.

NFLEurope.com reports New Orleans Saints RB Jamaal Branch has been named Offensive Player of NFL Europe Week 9. Branch rushed for 124 yards on 26 carries and scored on a 26-yard second quarter run for the Cologne Centurions.
