I'm refering to your comment on "solo" tackles (not all that other stuff) to look up his page... and it's Zach Thomas. Us two can probably make this a 100 page thread... probably would be fun but let's not. Don't be surprised... 8) But anyways... I have in the past compared Colby to Zach numerous times. Both were low round choices... hard workers... and starting NFL middle linebackers. I hardly see it as a diss to Zach.

Wow, as much as i hate to do it, i agree with whodi...or he agreed with me on the first page of this thread...either way, if there were another option other than Colby, the other option would win out. I would love to see what happened to him if we cut him...do you think any other team would even pick him up? I dont....certainly not to start for them...and the Zach Thomas comparison...CRAZY!!! Low round picks with heart who are white...thats where you draw the line.

So once you go back and read it carefully, you'd see that I wasn't comparing talent. It's very clearly stated. Nothing about it sounds crazy the least bit. You say that if there was another option other than Colby they would win out... count how many other linebackers are on this roster and then check out what free agent linebackers are still out there... cap room... yadda yadda yadda.

Once again... all stated numerous times. Beating the dead horse...

OK...trying to patch up all the holes of a 3-13 team in one offseason is a bit much...and maybe they think Colby will be SERVICEABLE...but by no means are they expecting him to collect 130 tackles...Payton said Hawk would have been the choice had Bush gone number 1, so you see that finding a LB was top priority. I will stand firm on the fact that Colby wouldnt start for any other team in the league. I also find it hard to believe that he starts at MLB come opening day.
