Hagen, I'm starting to believe you just don't want Horn or Stallworth on this team. The Stallworth argument is a good one....I don't agree with you (totally), but it's a good argument. Here's my question.....How can you tell me Joe Horn is and always has been a #2 receiver? I normally don't bring up stats, but here are his stats since 2000. In 2005 he was injured and it cost him, but in 2004 he had his best year as a Saint. You have decent points against Stallworth, but slamming Horn is little extreme.

2000 New Orleans Saints 16 16 94 1340 14.3 52 8 19 5 63
2001 New Orleans Saints 16 16 83 1265 15.2 56 9 23 6 59
2002 New Orleans Saints 16 16 88 1312 14.9 63 7 19 6 65
2003 New Orleans Saints 15 14 78 973 12.5 50 10 10 3 52
2004 New Orleans Saints 16 16 94 1399 14.9 57 11 22 4 73

jnormand that is part of the reason i have been lol so hard. Whoodi had nothing to say about that. I like Joe and he is one of the guys I want to see retire in the black and gold. he deserves it donte does not. If donte had Joes heart he would be one of the greatest to play the game. It is not so much i hate donte as much as as other are blinded by love. Joe is a #1. I was testing the waters on that one.
why would AB throw that way if joe has a half step. Joe still has a better chance of catching it. Funny how that says alot about the confidence in him. besides AB could not mentally handle the game speed involving reads. I have said that for years and some actually called me racist for saying it. lol he is just not quick enough.

You been looking for that for 8 hours and haven't found it? Maybe you would do better looking up the word "subjective." It's in webster's, and you won't have to worry about getting 30 different answers. Dude, you lost. Hate for Donte and a persistence in expressing that hate doesn't mean you have shown anything, nor does getting the last word. But if you think that makes the awful points you raised better, have at it.

what you are saying that Donte does not drop passes? What tied for the second most drops in the NFL is not bad? take a RB in Jordan out and he is tied for first with 2 other WR. I would say the 11 he is listed at is way to fair. All you got is so so yardage for a player that was your #1 option in the passing game. I gave you a break on the YAC for the QB but it also indicates a lack breaking tackles. Visit some other fan sites and you will get the same opion there. espically ones that have picked him like I did for there fantasy playerover the years. He drops passes.
Look I will be happy if Donte uses the stickem I sent at christmas. which i actually did send him in Texas. He has god given talent and could be great. yes even a #1 WR in the NFL but the boy does not have the heart to improve his skills. till I see that he is an under achiver. At least for once get the drops under 8 a year. Henderson is another with 5 last year in limited playing time. I will be mad if they give Donte way in trade also. But he is by no means untouchable if the the right player is avaiable or the right pick is offered. You can not prove it only Donte can. He has had his chance here and if we give him another year thats okay too. If he does it for another team so be it. I will be the first stand up to say about time.

See, this is why your hate is a joke:
At least for once get the drops under 8 a year.
Before last season, Joe Horn led our team in drops the prior couple of years, and Donte was nowhere near 8. Like I said, blind hate only makes you look silly, and you have presented no actual argument without this hate to justify your feelings on Donte, oh except:

espically ones that have picked him like I did for there fantasy playerover the years.
Finally some honesty. You're bitter cause he hurt your fantasy team. Get over it. [/quote]

Dropped Pass - Any incomplete pass which was catchable with normal effort. STATS compares and reviews the judgement of multiple reporters to determine if a pass was dropped.

"Normal effort" is also subjective. I have heard people say receivers should catch EVERY pass that even touches their hands. So basically, they take these different views of "normal effort" and reach a consensus on what is or isn't a drop? I guess that's the best they can do, but it doesn't make it any less subjective. I don't see why this is even a concern anyway. With the NFL players up there with Donte in drops, who his QB was, and how screwed up this team was last year, the fact he did anything, as a #2 speed receiver forced to be a #1 possession type receiver, is an accomplishment.
