I said didn't adequately address LB. Simmons and Fujita are definitely better than what we've had and are starters for US but come on....they are far from the cream of the crop as far as LBs go. Seeing as this has been our weakest position for years now, we could have done a better job. We've upgraded but there is still a lot of room for improvement.
How exactly could we have done a better job? Who did we miss? We were gonna pursue witherspoon, but he signed with whomever so fast we didn't even get a chance. Did you want us to get Arrington? Cause of his name? We would not have been able to get Fujita or Simmons in addition to Arrington with the money he got. Our LB is revamped, and went from below average to at least decent, and could be better depending on if simmons returns to beast form and Polley plays up to his full potential. How else exactly would w ehave gotten a cream of the crop LB? Polley and Foreman were rated as the two best LBs still available in FA, and we signed both of them.

Geez never mind then. What do you want me to say? That they get an A for effort??? Fine but the rating doesn't rate the effort that we made to get players it rates who they actually got. Simmons and Fujita are better than what we had but come on now. I'm willing to say we did a very good job in FA but we still have a bottom 5 LB squad.

I would hardly say bottom 5. I think they are at least middle of the pack. But that's not the point. For who was available, they did very well. They didn't overpay and got several decent-good veterans. You can't get 3 pro bowl LBs in one offseason. Hell, most times you can't get one.
