Training Camp at Millsaps College

Ok, maybe b/c I'm in So. California and it's hot as hell, but:

Since the Saints training camp is heading to Millsaps, is Jackson any cooler than NOLA this time of year? And, if so, do you think the temperature difference will help build the teams' stamina and endurance? Or, is it just a matter of building unity amongst the team?

I know the big easy heat was always a big concern for the tough guy Haslett.

Here's the article talking about the pending press conference.

It's a lttle cooler, maybe a few degrees worth, and it's less humid than N.O. I agree with the move, it takes them out of familiar territory and makes them focus on the task at hand.

The only time it's a few degrees cooler is during the night. During the day Jackson is downright hot. The Saints will get no break on the heat while training in Jackson. They can expect highs around 95 and lows around 75. The humidity in Jackson is horrible, but I will admit it's not quite as bad as New Orleans.

Well at least it seems less humid. That will help a little.

Either way, it still seems down right hot.
