I'm still gonna tune in just in case but on the shows official site on ESPN2 it doesn't have Deuce on the schedule at all this week. Link is below

I forgot to mention, when you click on that link and after it loads, click on "What's Next?" on the top and it will show you this weeks schedule.

Anybody got a recap?

AllSaints 06-29-2006 12:25 PM

this was from a guy who went to the show..... he is a saints fan.....

on Quite Frankly ...

1) He looks really good, no walking with a limp (or a grimace).
2) Talked about getting back, says he is about 90%.
3) Smith asked about Reggie taking his job, that Reggie will get quite a few touches. Deuce was calm and cool - again saying that their co-existence will open things up for the both of them. Also said that he was impressed with Reggie personally and that Reggie's adjustments to the NFL would be preparation based, not with the speed of the game (I'm starting to get the feeling that Reggie is as good as touted - everyone connected with the Saints seems to be hiding a conspiritorial smile as they talk about Reggie, and Deuce was no exception)
4) Handled the Brooks/Brees question well too - saying things had come to an end on both sides of the Brooks/Saints saga. Also mentioned Brees tremendous work ethic and that he knows all about Brees having to prove himself worthy repeatedly since college, he definitely admires that (while they talked about Brees, they also showed footage of him and Chargers kicking our tail last year- maybe they will edit that out )
5) Smith, before Deuce came out, introduced him as "one of the classiest gentlemen in sports", and starting the interview talking about Katrina and his charitable efforts in the area (very classy also)...
