McAllister & Bush (fantasy stuff)

I've read that McAllister & Bush will play on the field at the same time? If this is true how is this going to work? Who's going to get more involved with the team?

Ultimately, my question is, who gets picked in fantasy drafts...McAllister or Bush? And are they far apart in value?

RE: McAllister & Bush (fantasy stuff)

If Deuce is healthy, I think he's going to get the bulk of the carries/touches. But, Bush is going to be used as a returner, receiver, and at running back so he'll also get a decent amount of touches. I think both are viable fantasy options, just not 1st rounder material. I think Deuce has the better fantasy value so he's definately going to get picked first unless Bush is names starter after preseason which is very very very unlikely. Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson made it work when Priest was healthy... I can definately see that type of situation going on here. The Ricky Williams/Ronnie Brown thing was decent last year also.

I would only take either as a utility player in leagues with flex positions. I would not take either as my #1 or two option, just because it's gonna be so unpredictable what either will contribute week in and week out. Deuce will more than likely be our goal line back giving him TDs, and Reggie will more than likely be the third down back/returner/receiver/change of pace back. It also depends on how recovered Deuce is from his injury. Add to that outside of these roles, they will see the field together on any given down, it's too much of a crapshoot if you wanna win your fantasy league.

I agree with Whodi. It also depends on how your league works. One of mine awards points for return TDs and for receptions so Bush may have more value in a league like this one. But overall, Bush maybe a #2 depending on the stat categories for your league. Other than that, flex players or keep on the bench and see what happens.
