“GO LIVE
At the end of the practice, both the offense and defense were working on goal line plays. The ball was placed at the three yard line and after a few snaps that were “sluggishÃ¢à ‚¬? according to head coach Sean Payton, he issued the order to “go liveâ€?, meaning the drill was now full contact. The defense after being beaten in most of the snaps at the start of the drill, then proceeded to stop the Saints offense 7 straight times and ended with a “ you’re not going anywhereâ€? hit on Reggie Bush. The foghorn then sounded and practice was over.

I don't know whether to jump for joy because the D stepped it up, or sulk b/c the Oline probably sucked.

RE: Saints D making a stand?

I'm liking the D play. Not that you can take anything out of 7 plays that they'd seen a few dozen times. I like that the D is taking the attitude that Bush can embarrass other D's, but not them. If you can stop Bush, you can put a hurt on any other running game. (assuming O-Lines are comparable....)
