Hey old friend. Whats up? I just came back too.

Dwight Smith didn't fit in Gibbs plans. Its unclear if it was character or play that made them decide to dump him.

My guess is 70% head case / 30% play.

It was reported at mini-camps he had a "so what, I'm getting my money" attitude. But I don't know how true that was.

Good to see you around. I've been sneaking about the site the last week or so, but I've been wicked busy. I see some of the old guys (and some of the even older guys) are about these days - I think I'll be back more often now.

Any idea why we didn't try to get anything for him? He wasn't hurt as far as I know.

Also, WTF? with our OL! We could sure use a RT, and I'm sick of Stinchcomb!

rumor has it we tried to trade him. rumor has it his contract was the hold up. Then the vikes signed him to a nice sized contract, granted is backend heavy, so what truth there is to romurs who really knows. Cut for an example I bet.
Now WTF is up on the rebuilt OL? I was hoping you guys with 2000+ would tell us.

I wish I could help with the OL. I don't get it yet. I'm still trying to feel it out. Theories welcome, though!

well we got some young guys in camp and just added a few more. looks like Payton is keeping his word on shopping around the NFL. Once again most vets coming in, seem to be getting one year deals. The equipment Manager is going to busy the next couple of years.
