Some have mentioned Steve Largent. But ya know who this guy reminds me of? Danny Abramowicz! Yes, my comparison is from personal memory too. A 17th Rd draft pick!

Doesn't this blurb sound like the H man?...

In 1967, one of the most "famous" of the last round picks -- Dan Abramowicz -- was chosen on the 17th round by New Orleans. One scout said Dan had "glacial speed". But he also had superb hands and fierce determination.

"Danny made it on something that's hard to measure: competitive spirit", said Jim Finks.

Although chosen 420th, the flanker from Xavier proved he belonged in the NFL by catching a league-high 73 passes in 1969 and breaking Lance Alworth's record for catches in consecutive games.

With all this youth comin around....I'm sensing a Jimmy Johnson type of revival here with all the young guys we have acquired. I get the feeling that in a couple of seasons if our nucleus stays together and grows.....we should become a deadly force in the league. Anyone else seeing what I am seeing? As far as Haas.....he is a white version of Eric Martin....not too fast....hands of glue!!

Mike Hass should continue to amaze people in the future. I am an Oregon State fan, and Hass was arguably the best reciever to play there. And the Best part about it is that he was a WALK-ON. The Kid has Heart, and i am looking forward to watching him play.
