Is Bouman really that bad?

After watching AB and O'Sullivan play QB last night, Bouman looks like Peyton Manning :-). Seriously, I can already see some progress in his game. I think Payton and his staff can deprogram him from the Haslett era given enough time and turn him into a capable backup. There are worse 3rd string QB's in this league and unless the FO thinks they've found the next Kurt Warner I say let's ride it out w/ Bouman.

bouman is not that bad. he just got caught up in haz's silly love for AB just like some of the others before him. The kid does need to get rep's. I saw him play in Minni before he came he. I was happy to see us sign him. But I have not been pleased with his playlast year. Pressure or what? i have no idea.
With the QB situation the way it is I would like to see Amac as our #3 and playing other positions as well. sorry todd. 4 QBs on the active roster is to many. Need to find a young gun to develope on the PS, for the future. Payton needs pet project.

Yes, he is.

Martin is not a world beater but a better veteran back-up. They both had the opportunity to start last year. The results speak for themself.

With a vet back-up I think 3rd string is much better served by a developmental player such as AMac.

How that fluttering duck TD pass wasn't intercepted is beyond me. As long as he's been in the league, he should have learned how to throw a spiral, or something that looks like one. I wasn't that impressed by a guy going up against the 3rd and 4th string DB's with no real pressure. I'm with LK, buh-bye Todd, breathe easy AMac.

:hump:

Didja hear the announcers when they showed the replay of that TD pass? They said, "Quack, quack" ROFLMAO!
