1st half highlights

OK, I know there was not that much to cheer about during the 1st 2 quarters, but there were a few bright spots:

Horn had one nice catch for 28 yards

Weatherford's 1st punt was a monster -- 61 yards

Ninkovich & Fujita seems to be keying in a little better and making tackles

Brees did not give up after those first 3 dismal series, making some key throws and handoffs on the final drive of the half

All is not lost though. Like a train wreck that you just can't turn away from, I'll stay glued to the set to see if we can turn this around and save some face.

Go SAINTS!!!!!

RE: 1st half highlights

Highlights:

Brees didn't get killed. Bush didn't get hurt. Oh.....Joe Horn still has it. That's about as much as I can muster on the optimistic side.

Well, I sure liked the way Harper picked up that fumble and rans it back for close to 20 yards.

But, us being the SAINTS, the review will probaly go against us and give the ball back to the Cowgirls.

Branch, Bouman, Foreman, Fujita and Ninkovich are by far the brightest spots so far tonight.

The only bright spot of this game was the final clock.
