Evidence about Shanle. The Boys have such depth he probably was going to be cut. The FO probably guessed Houston would have taken him on waivers before us. Thus with Payton having good connections in big D they probably said, let us get him for a 7th to prevent that. Smart move to me.

Evidence about the Haz era. For a guy that was a LB himself he sure picked some certified bums at that spot. Sedrick Hodge Watson- a 2nd round pick that cannot even make the team on the worst LB group in the league, bounced from Buffalo, and bouncing further down to Houston.

Oh, I remember him and them all TOO well... James Allen zzzzz, Bockwoldt could have only stuck with this team, Fincher not tearing it up yet either for a 3rd rder. We won't get into the other acquisitions... it's a new era!

yasoon, don't limit to LB's! Sully and a few Safeties come to mind. But that was the past and hopefully we will see much different in the future. At least we can only HOPE!
