WR question

Really just looking for opinions here. Who will be the #2b (figuring in reality that Bush is the #2 receiver of sorts). Is it Colston, or Henderson??????? I heard that Colston looked good and that Henderson had some flashes. SO what gives.??????

By the way, the Terrence Copper pickup was a good one.

I think it is still competition. He who performs best will get the most time. Henderson is the better choice when you want to stretch the field. Colston is a bigger better target with surer hands for getting enough yards for a first down.

Our TEs will be way more on blocking emphasis IMO with our weak O-line. Joe is gonna have regular double teams. That leaves these guys to break out big. Would be no surprise if Reggie has more catches than both of them combined. His has great hands, I'd guess 45 catches minimum for him. He could be like Warwick Dunn earlier in his career and have almost 70.

The big beneficiary of the Stallworth trade in New Orleans, it appears, will be rookie Marques Colston.

Payton liked what he saw of the Division I-AA Hostra product in training camp.

"I like the progress Marques Colston's made a lot," Payton told AP. "That had a lot to do with why we traded Donte."

Henderson is the better choice when you want to stretch the field. Colston is a bigger better target with surer hands for getting enough yards for a first down.

Don't forget Colston can stretch the field as well. He's a 6'4" 230 lbs. receiver with a 4.43 forty time.

what counts is game time anyway tho. some guys are athletes and put up great combine numbers put play a lot slower and vice versa. I'd love for them both be so good as to make it easy for old Joe to ease his way out in the future.

We had 6 receivers who know the playbook. Is this guy that tremendous of an athlete?

I don't mind cutting B. Johnson for Copper, but I would be happiier if Hass had made the final roster.

He lasted that long because he played at Hofstra & wasn't seen much, but don't take my word for it

"I think I surprised a lot of NFL people with my time in the 40," said Colston, back in Harrisburg after spending last Thursday through Sunday in Indianapolis.

I know your rooting for this guy but, DH has outplayed him period. I like em, too But DH hasn't been getting the respect that he deserves, he has not been dropping nor bobbling balls...He has definitely improved on his routes and his speed is always there, c'mon let up some Ghandi
