Well forgive me, I'm a big saints fan but out of the loop.

Who is buying all of those tickets? Are there some corporations that are stepping up or something? Where were all of these ticket buyers in the pre-katrina years?

I will hang up the phone and listen for your answer over the air 8)

Nope.

We had Haslett, Venturi, & Aaron Brooks in the pre-Katrina years. Can't blame fans for not wanting to go to the dome & see those guys leading our team.

RE: who is buying all those tickets?

Well there are tons of Saints fans. In the Dome patrol years the Dome was nearly sold out for years. There was a rolling sellout for 5 years until Katrina.

New Orleans isn't just the 9th ward. In the metro area including Jefferson, St. Tamanny West Bank, etc there's like 1.3 million people.

Amazing we were still selling out with alomst 5 consecutive losing seasons, I think that say a lot for an NFL team. Now you're just seeing people care.

Also, I think anytime an NFL team get's a top 2 pick in the draft their Season tickets spike hard. If someone can get some stats on that that would be cool.

Amen. We're first time season ticket holders and we live in MS. I would say it was the Reggie bandwagon that was the overwhelming factor along with all the other changes and just having a new coach/QB and also just wanting to be a supportive fan for the area in general. I'd like to see a geographic breakdown of season ticket holders since Orleans Parish and the outside world seems to think they're the only ones who go to Saints games, especially when during discussions of a new stadium the mere thought of a stadium NOT in Orleans Parish is considered blasphemous. Not saying it shouldn't be in Orleans Parish, just saying that people should realize there's a whole metropolitan area that gets overlooked and I think it's clear this time that it's not Orleans Parish that's buying these tickets!

Season sellout to be announced today per Kenny W.

It's hard to remember a time with as much good vibe going on with this team as there is now.
