He tells me that N.O. is really geared up for tomorrow night. He works at a gentlemen's club in Metarie & he says it's like the air is electricfied with anticipation & pride. While many of the areas damaged by Katrina are still in shambles, the heart & soul of the city is alive & well. I am a very proud Louisianian that no matter what, our spirit can't be diminished. I once was a resident of the Big Easy & although I probably wouldn't live there again, more than anything I'd love to be able to come back to Louisiana just to feel that pulse once again. Honestly I think this is bigger than a Superbowl for the city. It's like an emotional Superbowl with the Saints in it where they play in their home town and everyone has come to town just to watch what happens.

For all the crap talk the media does, they along with the NFL are putting a huge shot in the arm for the area. Local businesses will get a great boost from this. Hope it happens again next year.
