Top Excuses Why Atlanta Lost (They lost, we didn't win it)

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; 1. Kornheiser- the Atlanta defense was overwhelmed by the emotion. I suppose no one else in the house was either. 2. Atlanta Radio- Dunn took the Falcon players on a tour of the devastation and they were too wrung out ...

Top Excuses Why Atlanta Lost (They lost, we didn't win it)

1. Kornheiser- the Atlanta defense was overwhelmed by the emotion. I suppose no one else in the house was either.

2. Atlanta Radio- Dunn took the Falcon players on a tour of the devastation and they were too wrung out to play hard. The Saints players living amidst the devastation couldn't be affected I am sure.

3. If Mora was gonna lose any game he wanted it to be this one. Right. He and Haslett do know how to do that here.

4. Morten Anderson threw it. Yes, it was a great conspiracy. Carlos Marcelo lives!

5. The greatest one from Mr. head up his own rear, Joey Sunshine Theisaman- the turf! Yes, the turf was slow. "Like playing on mud" (!?!?) It took the game away from Michael Vick. But NOT away from Bush, Deuce, Horn, Devery, or Colston. Please write ESPN my friends.

All I saw was the Saints handing the Falcons their ass last night. We beat them in every part of the game. The defense looked great, the offense was hard to stop, and not to mention of special teams play. The Falcons didn't just lose, they we dominated.

Steve Young called it after the game, while Irvin and Jackson were pecker deep in the "emotion" of the game, Young pointed out that it was a well played game by a well coached "pretty darn good" football team.

I listened to some Atlanta radio this morning. No credit to the Saints of course. Complaints ranged from the turf, to the fact that the refs didn't call a close game for the Atlanta receivers so of course "the fix was in".

Sad. Really sad.

1- he is a boob
2-so its Dunns fault for doing what is right and good??? F*** ATLANTA
3- Mora couldnt hear his cell phone thanks to all the SAINTS fans who gave it their all last night and are probably a little hoarse today
4-THIS IS IT.......THE REAL TRUTH
5-the saints have no speed on the team so therefore the field was the determining factor...(as if)

I'm sorry. That was a good "no call" on the interference against Mike. The only "fix" was the "fixin to whip that ass" attitude the Saints had prior to the game.

Didja see the news coming out of Georgia? Seems Vick had all kinds of trouble and could not even get back into his multi million dollar house. An apparent New Orleans fan painted an black and gold endzone with SAINTS on it across his whole front yard.

a little bit more of a Vick quote that I only had heard some of-

“That was Katrina over there, Vick said of the Saints. “That was Katrina. We had to work for everything. Those guys were pumped up. They studied us. They did all the right things. We didn’t do anything right.

Steve Young was the only one Monday niight who left Divine Intervention out of it. All through the game none of the so called expert in the booth gave an ounce of credit to the team till the fourth quarter. even then God was always given credit. Maybe the media should have read this.

Now I am hearing a common remark. Next Sundays game in Carolina will make this legit if we can win.

I hope Steve gets the laugh he deserves if we win the game. Rub it in their faces for all the saints fans.
