Panther fans observations

posted on Charlotte Observer website.

QScott, Other than a few such as Kasay, Peppers, and Johnson, not many Panthers are playing up to their press clippings. All nice guys but;looks to me like (1)Thomas Davis is as lost at linebacker as he was at safety last year (2) Jake is always interception and fumble prone (3)DeShawn is fumble prone, and (4) the Panthers in general are complacent and play soft most of the time. Is Fox not demanding enough?

ABill: You know what was weird about this question. I had to think to myself: Johnson. Johnson. Who is he talking about? Then I finally realized it was Keyshawn -- a true one-name athlete. It's like calling Madonna "Ciccone" or whatever her last name is. Anyway, DeShaun has not been fumble prone this year -- he's just not getting enough yardage. Jake has turned the ball over too much this year, I'd agree. I don't think the Panthers are complacent, I just think they aren't as good as people thought they would be. Fox being more demanding isn't really the answer here, I don't think. The problem is that when Steve Smith isn't on the field everything looks worse, as we've seen in first 3 games, and also that the D hasn't been as good as it should be.

RE: Panther fans observations

From browsing the Panthers boards I,ve come to realize something...
They are probably some of the classiest people in our division....to question calls are one thing..
But to hate and be irrational are something else...
IMO
