I want to know if anyone thinks the offensive line will be improved this year and why or why not.

I think we will be a more powerful run blocking o-line. Guys like Montrae Holland getting plugged in, and Jaxoc getting moved to center increases the forward push and will blow people backwards in the center with Bentley there as well. Gandy will be a better pass protector than Turley was as he has considerable experience dealing with a floating QB (coming from the Steelers), and we have decent depth. I would really like to see Fontenot resign. I think his presence, whethr he starts or not will upgrade our depth and cohesion. I do see a better line than last year, if not only because we added quality depth and potential in the draft (even though I saw bigger needs for those picks personally).

Until either of the following happens, we are not as good as we were last year, but only by a small margin:
1) Fontenot is given a new contract.
2) A year has passed to allow Holland and Stinchcomb time to mature.

I do not think we will be any better than last year, but at least we want be any worst. If the line has a great training camp and learn to work together and stay healthy, then they should be able protect the QB and open holes for Duece. At least there shouldn\'t be any bad mouthing going on this year like you know who do last year.
