Saints sign Bellamy

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; We're going to need a good tackling safety. If Bellamy was the last cut, it was probably only because he is significantly older and can't catch the ball. But if he does knock some down, especially to tight ends that ...

Welcome Back Jay. Play like your professional career depends on this opportunity.

Me, you, my pizza delivery guy? Doesn't really matter. Hopefully either Stoutmire or Scott take the starting role. Got a list of FA DBs? I'll pick several.

Why are some of you so down on Bellamy? If he gets out there and plays like crap, I'm sure Payton won't stick with him long. I think he'll be fine.

When he gets out there and plays like crap, it may cost us a TD. Rather not risk it. Especially against the Eagles. Maybe he can start when we play San Fran.

Yeah.....he would have been a good pick up at the safety position for us. Not to mention.....he knows the Philly offense quite well. Oh well.....I guess it's Bellamy.

Agreed. I'd take Vincent Price over Bellamy, let alone Troy Vincent.
