Roumor has it? Al Harris

Calling all cornerbacks: The 49ers are reportedly interested in adding a veteran cornerback to their struggling secondary, possibly in exchange for a future draft pick. The one guy who might be available is Al Harris from the Packers. Problem is, there is baggage: Harris missed offseason workouts because he wanted a new contract. Last week, he dropped an interception that landed in his hands and was schooled by Rams wide receiver Torry Holt.

hmm how many CB are schooled by Holt each year? :P everyone
what would you give for him?
i do not understand this one. unless they are going to give up on signing him after tagging him.

I'd take him. The kid is good. I played ball with him here at TAMUK. Pretty fun guy, loads of talent, hed be a good compliment to MM. 2 solid corners would be nice for a change.

Al's too old. Plus, Fred is a mean corner with good skills. We need younger players like Bullocks and Harper that will grow into the position. I wouldn't give up a pick for him. Too expensive and too old.

Not a chance of bringing him in...he is not a Payton kind of player. Simple as that. He is whining about a new contract and he just signed a 7 year deal 2 years ago. One guy you should keep your eyes on though is Will Peterson. He will be signed by someone in the next month.
