and my game ball goes to....

Joe Horn on offense, and Hollis Thomas on defense. Horn straight up played a good Eagles secondary, and Brees did not hesitate to reward him with the ball. Thomas was a beast and caused problems along the interior line all game long.

RE: and my game ball goes to....

Good choices, Grant was a beast himself today, this guy was pumped today and it showed..

BnB, my game ball(s) goes to Stallworth and Howard, thanks for all you did, but most definitely for all you did TODAY. NOTHING!!!!!!

Hollis and Simoneau, their families and friends, have to be dancing in the streets of NO right now!. Enjoy guys!

The past nor the future matter, only the present.

Anyone notice when McNabb had his head near his knees while sitting on the sidelines, he looked sick with his life, this was right before the winning kick..Priceless

NO_SAINTSinMD 10-15-2006 05:56 PM

The whole D-fense

My game ball goes to the whole defense we did show the world about how we can go toe to toe with them "Lesbian Eagles" <---heard in inna song a while back But I would like the Manimal Will Smith to step it up like his other teammate Gigantic Grant.....but I guess he is in luv with Jada Pinkett-Smith lol....but no seriously we did ok against a top 5 offense....kudos to Joe Horn, The Swampman D, Colston, Eazy Breezy, the oline stopping them Lezbian Eagles to 0 sacks, Deucey, and Bush wit them catches we sure as heck are spreading the ball around.

I piss black and old gold!

2 game balls for Carney, 1 for hitting the winner today, the other for missing the extra point against the jags. If he hits that extra point, we could very well still be a mediocre/crappy team instead of the very improved team we have today.

Game ball goes tooooo...... no other than Joe dude was ready to play ..... any 1 see that dance on the 1st TD.... what was that lol....

My game ball goes to Payton, because we probably would have lost with any other coach in the league, but he knows what it takes to win, and especially against the Eagles and Jimmy Johnson's defense ( 0 sacks today). Payton is 10-6 against the birds.

CHACHING 10-15-2006 08:07 PM

Payton
Hands down..
dude had us ready to play..
I don't know if ya'll noticed or not...but

My 2 gameballs go to Joe Horn ( Welcome back Joe!!!) and Drew Brees. I love how Drew kept his composure even after the Int that put Philly on top, and rallied the troops to tie the game and then made some CLUTCH throws on the final drive to seal the deal! Great Game, Great WIN!!

Game balls:

Joe Horn - LTF will back me up on this. Before the game I said it'd be his breakout game, it was.

The OL - No sacks and a good running game despite Duece being out for nearly an entire quarter.

Hollis Thomas - Six tackles and a sack. Constant pressure and great run stuffing.

Guys, feel free to use this...it was crying out for it. Just put it on your own photobucket accounts is all I ask. ;)

Yeah. I used to live in Philly. I was telling my Philly friends that I thought the traded players would be the difference. And you can't really see that in the stats. Hollis had one sack and Howard had one penality, but I think our guys just wanted it a little bit more.
I also give an honorary game ball to Reggie Bush. I know it's killing him to just be a giant decoy on 90% of the big plays. But he's handling it well. Not complaining about his touches, and he's stopped try to over do it with the juke moves. Even had his 1st fair catch. I'm just glad he realizes winning is the most important thing, even though his own teammate has a much better chance of winning Rookie if the Year right now.

You called it BJ, what a breakout game it was for Horn, I didn't accept him to have tow TD's today..
Good call BJ

Mine goes to- Agent Cody Banks/ Malcolm in the Middle/ Frankie Muniz!
Offense-Joe
Defense-Mt. Fujita

RedNekSaint 10-15-2006 09:22 PM

O - Hollywood

D - Hollis Thoms - I almost lost it when he shoved McNabb down with one hand.

SP - Copper?

ccredsox03 10-15-2006 11:32 PM

on offense- the o line for some nice blocking this game and all year long.

defense- mr scott fujita. i love when the dude bows its so sweet.

xan 10-15-2006 11:51 PM

John Stinchcomb on offense and Scott Fujita on Defense.

No false starts and no holding penalties for Stinch against Cole, who came into the game leading the league with 6 sacks - Cole was credited with only 4 tackles and 2 hurries. This was a significant key to Brees' ability to effectively run the short passing offense.

Fujita had 4 solo and 4 assisted tackles, 1 sack, 1 hurry, 1 interception and 2 passes defended. A superior performance to keep pressure on McNabb, keep Westbrook from finding seams and he also ran the D. Gombate Ne.
