Attention World... The Saints are for REAL

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; That's what I'm predicting the talking heads will say in the coming week. This is the most glowing article I've read about the Saints in quite some time. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200...nts/index.html...

Wow.
Great post jdig.
I pulled a quote from this article to emphasize.
I kept reading and kept finding more.
Let's all do ourselves a favor and read it to the end.
Don Banks (the author) sums all of my feelings up nicely.
Whodathunkit?

OK.
I will do this.
Even though it'll probably take another five wins in their final 10 games to secure the franchise's first playoff berth since 2000.
If we only play .500 ball we finish 10-6.
The only word that I can summon to describe my feelings is,
WOW!

Great find J..
I love this quote:

"Even Payton, the team's fresh-faced leader, was ready after the game to declare that the Saints aren't just coming, to a degree they've arrived."

Here are the Coach approval ratings. I'd think Payton's doing a pretty good job. Apparently, so does the rest of the country.

This coach and this team will not be happy losing 5 more games. This bunch has pride!

Scott Fujita (eight tackles, a sack, an interception, and two passes defensed)
I knew he would have an impact as a leader on defense but I did not see this coming...

Payton has molded this team together in a way that defies logic...Bring em on...

We're 5-1, but we've still got a whole lot more to play more. If the Saints can win 5 more at home and go undefeated at home, that would be a great accomplishment for the team and the community. Don't sell the Saints short - we ain't going away and we've got more to play for than any other team right now in the NFL.
