Its NOT the end of the world.

OK, We lost! I am upset, you are upset, the coach and players are upset too. They played terrible yesterday but thats it, it was yesterday! We gotta focus on getting back up on the horse. We are 5-2 and last year who would have thought it. EVERY team has an off week. Who would have thought the reigning S.B Champs Pittsburgh would be 2-5 and lost to "OMG" Oakland! Indy almost lost yesterday, Chicago almost lost to Arizona. It happens, no one is perfect! They will have to fix the mistakes. I said it Friday, we would have an off game. I did not think it would be yesterday but it happened. So lets learn from it, get in gear and kick some Buc's ass this weekend. Reggie's injury is minor and he will be back this Sunday. We can still make the playoffs, we are still in first place and we still have our team.

that right red
tampa is our biggest problem next. they played pretty good hold the NYG to 17 points. despite 6 turnovers. sure the NYG were missing some players the bucs kept plugging away. this will be a tuff game coming up. We must win this one.

Man,

We played scared from the opening kickoff. That was fear and it never resided. Even Payton was scared. Calling 3 consecutive runs after we get a fumble recovery....scared! Payton was scared, tried to be cute and do fancy plays, and the player played like chickens except Colston. O-Line jumping all over, RBs looking for LBs before catching the ball, you name it. We did our selves i n by playing not to lose like the old Saints teams instead of going after their juggular and saying F you, we're the Saints! Chickens all around and the whole staff should be ashamed.

I agree with you DJ, we played scared, and it showed. Not the kind of performance you can have if you want to be mentioned with the top teams. BUT, we also have a lot of young guys, so the Ravens D could be intimidating to them. What we can hope for, is that they learn from it and not let anyone else intimidata them. But watching at home, it just seemed to me we were scared.

I said 12-4 or 11-5 allowing for an off week. I did not think it would be this week. Read my post again. Yes, I thought we had this one, but this was our off week. Be done with it and move on. There will NOT be another!

RE: Re: RE: Its NOT the end of the world.

Ok, we are a third of the way through and most analysis had us going 6-10, 7-9 at best. We are 5-1 and going strong! So seriously, taking a hard look down the stretch, what do you think we will end up at?

Baltimore- we got this one! - Win!

Tampa Bay- strong but beatable- Win!

Pittsburgh- this aint last years champs- Win!

Cinncinnati- may be tough because every week you never know who is going to show up- ?

Atlanta- In their dome and they will want revenge- ?

San Francisco- yeah ok - Win!

Dallas- Romo or Bledsoe? Bledsoe or Romo?- Win!

Washington- again yeah ok- Win!

N.Y. Giants- Manning's a tough kid, he's got swamp water in his blood, another tough one- ?

Carolina- New years eve & home in the dome, regular season ender & a blow out!- Win!
and ...... ON OUR WAY TO THE PLAYOFFS!

I am thinking 12-4 and seriously thinking about tickets to Miami!
Oh my bad... OH NO WAIT take a look at the Baltimore one... duh. You didn't allow them to have an off week against the Ravens.

I don't know whay everyone is so big on the Steelers, after all they got into the playoffs last year as a wildcard. They ended up winning the SB great... but teams are gunning for them even more because of it.

Scared may be the correct word to use -- but that only explains the offense -- what did the defense have ot be scared of -- We made McNair look like the greatest QB in the league. Missed tackles on Jamal didn't help either --
