I feel if our O-line start run blocking better
Buch will do a lot better.

Lack of penalties

I think a huge part of our win and determination had to do with discipline in regards to penalties.

We had 3 5-yard penalties, 1 in the 2nd period where we went 3 and out and the other two at the start of the 3rd where we ended up eventually punting it on 4 and 2 (when I was in the chat, I was pissed about this, but you guys convinced me it was the smart thing to do, and it was, since we stopped them next drive 3 and out, and then Deuce scored, we stopped them again 3 and out, then Devrey went deep again and it was awesome)

Anyways, we had much less penalties and I'm really proud of our team, our O-line, no matter what people say, we are a comeback team, but we just need to be consistently disciplined and we will be a dominant one.

We definitely played smart and clock management was well done, great turnaround from that nightmare last week, but you know what they say, the good ones learn MORE from their losses than if they were to just win easily. Thank goodness for tests, because it gives us a chance for a gut-check. I think we got it, and when Jamaal comes back, we can start off fresh for the second half.

Can't wait for next week's national game, get to see the saints on TV again, hope we get at least 3 more national games. Atlanta, New York and Carolina seems like good candidates to me!

Geaux Saints!

RE: Lack of penalties

So next week we get to beat up on the Steelers and to think what goes up doesn't come down pay-backs a b*tch, can I say that?

Also nice to see a Saints qb who can feel and move around in the pocket instead of good-riddance qb seeing any flash of opponent's jersey and running backwards for a 10-yard loss
You forgot the good-riddance QB's retarded spin move giving us 10 yds more negative field position.

I would really Love to be in that rarified air that the Steelers have breathed 5 times before.
As Sean Payton has said: "We Have Not Accomplished Anything Yet."

I am Loving 6-2 though.

The problem is that you only learn to do it by playing.

The Saints need to scheme to teach Bush how to run in the NFL. Give him plays that force North-South running. That means no sweeps or pitches.
