We had a great win today.

1st qtr was almost perfect. At one point Brees was 10/10 for 148yds with 1.52 to play.

2nd qtr we seemed to struggle and the Bucs finally turned up for the game.
I can never understand why at the 2.00 minute warning we are at 3rd and 1, but we elect to pass, that falls incomplete and we go 3 and out. Surely we have the confiedence in McAllister to get the 1 yrd needed and keep the drive going.

3rd and 4th quarters were ok and good to see the D picking up a couple of sacks etc.

Lastly we seem to be using Bush a lot more on running plays instead of McAllister.
Why is that???

Anyway we are back on track and that's all that matters'

GEAUX SAINTS!!!!!!!!

I do know that I am officially tired of seeing Bush lose yards like that. If he can't learn to North, then I say he doesn't get the freakin ball any more.

Bush is a great receiver, but I wish they would leave the running duties to the Deuce until Reggie learns to use the holes he's given.

RE: Great win today, but that 2nd qtr?????

nd quarter was terrible. Sickening to see the momentum and, seemingly, the game go to the Bucs. Same ole Saints? Nope. 3rd and 4th quarters may not have been completely perfect, but these Saints responded like champs out of the second-half gates. Nice to see.

Halfway through the year and Bush still won't juct go forward. His 20-yard punt return should show him that he just needs to run North. Don't try to juke everybody out and run around them. This ain't the PAC-10.

Also nice to see a Saints qb who can feel and move around in the pocket instead of good-riddance qb seeing any flash of opponent's jersey and running backwards for a 10-yard loss. O-line has played well, but Brees works the pocket so well. S. Rice had almost nothing today. He would have had pleny if AB was our qb. All of the NFC d-lineman miss him. AB was their stat-booster.

I'm a big fan of Bush too but he's getting to many touches in the running game, I say give more carries to Deuce and slowly bring Bush along, he is a rookie you know..

I'm still happy that the Saints picked up Bush in the draft but I'm with you all. Duece is the man.

Also, I've only watched one Saints game so far this year (damn FOX station up here thinks that we all like Seattle so it's Seattle EVERY week) so I don't have the answer to this question: What about the running game? I'm guessing that it's poor blocking. Hey, whatever works I guess. I personally would like to see more McAllister highlights.

Absolutely iceshack. I didn't see the game, but I read the box score, and I don't think Deuce is getting enough touches.

Where did all the doom sayers go? My friends....today was a game that shows we can respond to anything. We dominated this game. 2nd quarter was a matter of TB adjustments. Something usually has to give in the NFL. Saints came out after half time with their own fix ups and.....PRESTO!!! we ruled the 2nd half. Believe my friends....BELIEVE!!! We are solid and it showed in true form and flying colors of GOLD, WHITE, AND BLACK!!!!! GO SAINTS!!!!!!!!

As for Reggie....I know his numbers are lousy but I can't help but notice that each and every week defenses still have the nack of keying in on him like flies to s!@#. As long as that persists....(add the fact that he still has a bit of a dancing issue) his numbers will continue to be lousy. Teams keep forcing us to throw but they keep forgetting that......WE CAN THROW AS GOOD AS ANYBODY IN THE LEAGUE THIS YEAR!!!! 6-2 folks......sounds good just sayin it. Peace!! and remember.....keep BELIEVING!!

BINGO!!
