We seem too often to catch a team at a bad time. It happened with Carolina with Steve Smith's return. It almost happened with Tampa when Gradkowski made his first start. Then with Baltimore after Billick fired Fassel and took over the play calling. And then again with Pittsburg against the ropes, due for a win. And now we face a Cincy teams that just came off the losing-side of a very high-scoring game, just looking to take their revenge on the next opponent. We are 6-3, but we also 1-2 in our last 3 games. I have a bad feeling about this game.

Well if anything....take solace in the fact that this game.......IS IN YOUR HOUSE! And....how do you think Cincy feels...they are also saying... "DAMN>>>WE GOTTA FACE THE SAINTS AFTER THEY CAME UP SHORT ON A HIGH SCORING GAME AGAINST THE CHAMPS. You know they wanna prove something to everyone." Truth is....both teams are goin in with chips on their shoulders. But we have the crowd. UTILIZE THE ADVANTAGE GUYS!!

well things do not get any easier any time soon and that is for sure. the thing is pitt is a good team with a bad record. it really is just like that. i think we know though that our d needs help still. we knew that though coming into the season. i asked for us to play good football this year and to play tough this year. i think i have got that out of this team. i also think we are in a good position wiht a good group of young guysto really be a team that is a threat every week to have to play. we just need a couple of more players on the d side. we still have a very good shot at the playoffs but i am with you we are always getting the proverbial slam from behind with when we get teams. at some point we have to overcome that and get the dang win regardless. hopefully sean is in their ass this week because we need the win. hey when are we playing san fran. that couldn't happen soon enough. hey good thing atlanta is beat up and losing to the likes of the browns. gives me a good feeling for when we play them.

Who would have guessed that the Saints would be 6-3 at this point? It's hard to complain about a team that has exceeded my expectaions but I will anyway.
What happened to the Defense? I was singing Gibbs praises about three games into the season and now the team is giving up yards and points like last years team. They need to focus.

Despite the success that the Saints have had so far with the passing game this year, this is a game that they need to figure out how to run again. Keep Cincy's Offense off the field and away from the Saints Defense. Even if they get down a score or two, run it and milk that clock.

Run, Duece, run! Get over 100 yards again.

Blame the crappy cornerbacks on that. This is a top ten defense with some upgrades at that spot.
