Falcons | Blank says entire organization is under evaluation
Sat, 25 Nov 2006 10:16:47 -0800

Steve Wyche, of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reports Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank said the entire organization is under evaluation. He added finishing out of the playoffs and with an 8-8 record or worse "is definitely not good enough, from any perspective." He did not say head coach Jim Mora and his staff is in jeopardy of losing their jobs, but he did not offer a vote of confidence.

also, those dirty birds are at it again......

RE: atlanta feeling pressure?

Mora is in a bad spot, if he sits Vick for any reason and things still don't work out then he might get the word later that he has been dismissed, on the other hand if Vick continues to start for him (which I don't see Vick on the bench) and is unsuccessful in winning he may still lose his job, Mora is on the hot seat IMO..
I think Mora will go down with the ship with Vick, I've seen this happened before with other coaches..
Vick continues to be responsible for selling out the Georgia Dome, how long can he do it there?

Rest In Peace JoeSam, thanks for everything my friend.

Yeah, Dan Reeves.
Vick is a coach killer. You have to give it to Mora Sr., he may say things before thinking them through but at least he's honest.

Add Haslett to that list of sticking with "the" quarterback while the ship is sinking. Soon to join may be Shanahan.

Falcons are not the only team feeling the pressure today. we lose and the chances for the play off are all about done. kiss any tie breaking advantage out of the window. We will need alot of help from other teams to get in.

Jay Cutler, QB DEN

News: The Denver Post confirmed through a team source that Broncos coach Mike Shanahan will make Jay Cutler the team's starting QB vs. Seattle in Week 13, benching Jake Plummer. Cutler will have 10 days from the team's Week 12 loss at Kansas City to prepare for the game. Shanahan has yet to make an official statement.
