SaintsReport.com is reporting that the Saints signed Billy Cundiff, recently cut by the Green Bay Packers...It looks to me like they signed in order to give Carneys leg a break from kickoffs...ESPN and NFL do not have it listed as a transaction so I guess anything regarding the Saints has gotten the can as usual...

I am kind of surprised that the Saints gave Sauerbrun a look-see. I think Weatherford has done a nice job. One thing that may be an issue is having two kickers on the roster. If Sauerbrun can handle kickoffs, then I can see the Saints maybe signing him if there is an immediate need at another position.
