Falcons | Gesture to cost Vick $20,000

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Vick will be fined by the league for his obscene gesture towards Atlanta fans after the Week 12 game. Vick will be fined $10,000 by the league and the league is requesting Vick pay an additional $10,000 by making a donation to a charity of his choice. In the past, NFL players were fined $5,000 for similar behavior.

Yes, about like fining me 10 bucks. I thought it was kinda funny though, especially knowing that the packers fans commonly moon the opposing teams buses as they come and go.

Did they ever confirm it was his own fans heckling him? I know a lot of us make that trip ever year. Not that that makes it right, but on Fox they kept stressing the fan that it was Atlanta fans he was responding to like they knew that for a fact.

He brother did that a couple times up here at Virginia Tech. I guess that's how the Vicks say "hello."

I saw a picture from behind him at the time, looking up into the crowd and there were only falcons fans in the area. I don't think they can blame our fans.
