This is awesome, I am so psyched about not only the Saints season, but all the cool matchups that'll make the NFC the most interesting conference in December!!!! Man, a good time to be a football fan in general, and a Saints fan in particular!

Thank you Jake for the INT at the end of the game, we love you here in Louisiana...
Two games up going into the Dallas game, the Panthers play the Giants which I think is another loss for them...

The Saints cannot afford to sit tight.

The teams that realize that the playoffs have begun, and play every game like a playoff game are the ones that will be successful.

The 6-6 teams have already started. Carolina just lost effectively a playoff game last night. It's going to be interesting because the 4 WC teams involved in the NFC are from the East and South. That means that they've all played each other this season and will have a ton of common opponents. So the tiebreakers are going to be wild.

The Saints need to play like a team on a mission. The winner of the Saints/Dallas game next week is in the drivers seat for that #2 playoff seed and the bye (which the Saints currently own).

My prediction is that Carolina is done. They have to play the Giants, Pittsburg, Atlanta, and the Saints down the stretch. They have already lost two critical and winnable games the last two weeks. I predict they go 1-3 down the stretch and finish up 7-9.

I think Atlanta loses the Dallas and Carolina games. One more Atlanta loss coupled with one more Saints win puts Atlanta out of the NFC South race.

With the NFC South championship virtually in the grasp, the Saints needs to focus on the #2 seed. It starts this week. Make no mistake that this Dallas game is a playoff game. We find out this week if the Saints are a playoff contender or not. This game will be the difference in making a serious playoff run this season, or being a playoff also ran that gets one home playoff game, then has to go face the Bears or Seattle, or Dallas on the road in January.

You play the first 12 games to position for the playoff run. The Saints have been absolutely brilliant this season because 3 of their 4 losses were against the AFC North, which in terms of losses is minimal damage.

The Saints last 4 games are against 2.5 playoff contenders (remember I believe that Carolina is done) and a team that had been playing spoiler in the Washington Redskins.

These last 4 games will define our season and our playoff position for a serious run.

After completely destroying a decent defense and the #1 rusher in the NFC last week (and that with the top 2 receivers and the #1 TE on IR), I think the Saints are ready for the challenge.

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

Quick correction:

with the top 2 receivers currently OUT and the #1 TE on IR.

Horn and Colston will be back. And just in time too.

We need Will Smith bad. What's the status on his knee?

I'm not so sure about how badly we need Will Smith. Beating Romo is going to be about scheme more than talent.

I watched the Dallas/Giants game. Romo is most dangerous when he escapes the pocket. We need to scheme him like we scheme the Vicks. Stop the run. Contain the QB in the pocket. Make Romo throw the ball from the pocket.

So that's going to take discipline.

Agree 100% with everything you just said... though it would be a big plus to have Smith on the field.
