Alas, Gator you are right and you are wrong. I think you said that LSU was the only state team playing for anything. So if I may ask? Doesn\'t a national championship, no matter what division, count for anything? I\'m not saying it wouldn\'t be nice to get more coverage around the nation but they should still count to our people in our state. As for me I believe that anytime you or your team play for a national championship it counts for something. It\'s something not a lot of teams get a shot at. There are only so many divisions to play in.

Gator, if the truth be known. I think it might be just you who isn\'t interested in McNeese or anything else right now. Media,Peanuts and whatever have nothing to do with it. Damn, I forgot what this topic was originally all about but I do see it ran into college chanpionship runs. How does Mcneese St. keep popping up into this? Outside of LSU i think you have to look north toward La Tech and the former Northeast to find championship challenges and winners.
La tech is the #2 school in the state when it comes to athletics. Not Bad for a school of only 10,000. |

Hey Turley was a very good player for awhile while he was here.But with his state of mind in the last year season and the last few games the season before it was time for him to Geaux.His mind was not with the team but with how much he should make. While all along he was looking out for #1 himself,which is not bad with what the game is today all about MONEY---It was time for him to GEAUX---and keep his mouth shut!!!!.I\'am sure we will get to see him soon.Let the ballgame start
