And don't forget Deuce's 111 yds rushing

Very quietly, no flash, but Deuce ran for 111 and iced the game at the end.

Michaels made a comment about Deuce being in the same situation as Reggie when he first joined the Saints, and said that Deuce had told him that RW didn't exactly embrace him, and because of that experience, he's made a point to welcome and help Reggie this year.

Deuce is indeed the (ice)man.

if im not mistaken, we didnt throw a pass in the fourth quarter. you gotta love the deuce, what a class act. maybe my all-time favorite saint.
i loved that highlight of him during bush's touchdown. he was all fired up with the fist pumps. and plus i hear he's the man too talk to if you want to buy a Nissan in Mississippi.

It is great to hear that they are getting along. I liked to see Deuce cheer for Reggie and Reggie cheers for Deuce also.

Indeed. For a guy who is used to occupying the backfield by himself, Deuce has done an amazing job of being humble and doing whatever it takes to get the win. My favorite Saint for sure.

He also said that Ricky Williams used to belittle him, in front of the rest of the team. Probably for not knowing how to roll a blunt!!! badoom boom!

RE: Re: And don

When Deuce says "as long as we get the W" he means it. He quietly does his job while showing great leadership to the young players. He represents the team, the region, and his native state with total class.
A Dallas newspaper said this morning that toward the end of the game the Dallas booo`s we`re replaced with Doooouece by the many Saints that remained in the stands. Deuce isn`t lacking any love due to the new standouts on the Saints roster, and he knows it and appreciates it.

Yes I love the Deuce - class act all the way.
But I am glad Reggie gets so much hype - while deuce quietly picks up 100+ I think it works to our advantage.
