Great article on Payton and the Saints from the DMN

Great article on Payton and the Saints from the DMN

No coach had a bigger influence on him. No coach does Payton respect more.

But no coach has taken on what he has in his first year in New Orleans, a burden even the great Bill Parcells can't help him with.

Parcells only had to revive a football team.

Payton has a broken city to shoulder, too.

Or as he sheepishly puts it, "It's a little more than you initially get into the business for."
