New Orleans can clinch NFC South division title with:
a tie and Atlanta loss or tie
Atlanta loss and Carolina loss or tie
New Orleans can clinch a first-round bye with:
a win and Dallas loss and N.Y. Giants loss or tie and Seattle loss
New Orleans can clinch a playoff berth with:
Minnesota loss or tie and Philadelphia loss OR
Minnesota loss or tie and Carolina loss or tie OR
Minnesota loss or tie and Dallas loss and Philadelphia/NY Giants ends in tie
Chicago can clinch home-field advantage with:
a win and New Orleans loss or tie OR
a tie and New Orleans loss
So games of interest this week are:
San Francisco at Seattle 8:00 p.m.
Dallas at Atlanta 8:00 p.m.
Washington at New Orleans 1:00 p.m.
Tampa Bay at Chicago 1:00 p.m.
N.Y. Jets at Minnesota 1:00 p.m.
Pittsburgh at Carolina 1:00 p.m.
Philadelphia at N.Y. Giants 4:15 p.m.
The easy ones that would help and want (nice not having to say need) to happen
SF to Win
Tampa to win
Jets to win
Pitt to win
The two other games
Dallas at Atlanta
Philadelphia at N.Y. Giants
either way we benifit towards the playoffs
Of course the Saints must win.
Man I thought things would have been clearer after beating the cowboys

RE: Playoff Scenarios
They are clearer. The Saints' destiny is in their hands. No help is needed to either get into the playoffs or secure a 1st round bye. Take care of business and good things will happen.
