and still get the first round bye.
if we were to lose to NYG and CAR and finish 9-7 there is still a chance that we get the bye, and with the way the NFC is this year that sounds about right, a 9-7 team to get what a 12-4 or even 13-3 team might miss out on in the AFC.
DAL would need to lose out also, finish 9-7, we get it over them in head-head
PHI would have to beat DAL then lose to ATL, finish 9-7, we get it over them head-head also
SEA would have to lose one of there last two games versus either SD or TB, finish 9-7, we get it over them because of our conference record i think.
and NYG would beat us and then lose to WASH, or maybe they won't even have to lose to WASH I am not sure, but either way there is a chance
I hope this does not happen so that we have some momentum going into our first playoff game, but it would be really crazy.

It would flat suck. Winning playoof teams have big Mo on their side, playing with confidence. Losing 3 in a row entering the playoffs, even with a bye would be terrible.

It would be crazy and it would really stink to lose the rest of the reg season, but the media and the people about to jump on our bandwagon would give up on us and rave about San Diego and Dallas. Then we would prove 'em wrong again when it really counts.

If the Saints were to lose the next two games that would tell me the team has given up and are happy just winning the NFC South.
It would show me that the Saints were a fluke this season, that they didn't deserve being the champs.
It would show me that this team wasn't nearly as good as we thought they were.
No way this well coached team would accept losing the next two games, they would have no shot in the playoffs if they were to lose out, their confidence just wouldn't be there going into the playoffs.
The Saints have worked hard to be where they are today, they won't just throw it all away.
I don't know for sure if the Saints win the next two but I know they'll win one of those games, I see them however winning out.
