Carolina out

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; With the Giants win tonite, you have to wonder how uninspired the Panthers will be when they take the field tomorrow...not like a win matters much to either team now, but i am glad that they wont be playing for ...

RE: Carolina out

I think getting to 11-5 is something we need to do. 10-6 is a good year, but 11 wins looks a lot better. I think that plus the Panthers being disappointed about not making the playoffs should make it easier, but not a sure thing. They can go 8-8 and avoid a losing record for the season with a win - that's something to play for.

I guess in the end it'll matter if Carolina cares enough about winning to beat our backups.

to add to what your saying, carolina has also got to consider what the motivation of playing their starters is, since they have to be looking to next year and don't want injury flooks to make a bad season worse!
