Now that the New Orleans is being rebuilt, I think it's only appropriate to begin the rebuilding of something else...something revered by the NFL, something that once sent all of its starting linebackers to the Pro Bowl in the same year. Something called the Dome Patrol defense.

Saints sit on the offensive throne of the NFL - now it's high time we resurrect the most feared defense in all of football.

Should we turn our focus to rebuilding the Dome Patrol this offseason, if nothing else but nostalgia sake?

There will never be another "Dome Patrol" defense ever again.
I would like them to get a nickname but they'll have to be much improved before that happens..
