I've bet my pride on this game....

I just made a bet with my co-worker who is an Eagles fan that whoever's team wins, the loser has to wear the other teams jersey all day at work. We were going to bet money, but we thought our team pride is a lot more valuable to bet. I have all our stars' jerseys so whoever has the biggest game is the jersey he is going to have to wear!! Anyone else have bets with Eagle fans?

RE: Re: RE: Re: I

The battles at work have only just begun. It's gonna be a longggggg week, lol.
I've been wearing Saints T shirts and hats so far every day, and hanging different Saints jerseys in my trucks windows while parked, strategically placing tons of Saints newspaper headlines, photos, and football cards WHEREVER the beagle fan can see them (I printed ALL the photos from week 6 I could find, and made 25 copies of Horn flexing for dawkins).
We have gotten into some REAL heated shouting matches thus far, and we still have 4 days to go.
I think I might be wiped out by Saturday, lol.
We take our football VERY seriously around here, and this is my year to shine! I've been taking the crap for years now, but this year is different!

We haven't come to an agreement about the bet yet, but I do like the idea of making him wear a Brees jersey all day if we win. Maybe I'll bring that up, and see if that's suitable.
Thanks for the idea!

That my friend is hilarious

The Eagles don't stand a chance. Did you see Payton's press conference? He convinced me right there in a subtle way that the Eagles are in trouble. Plus, the Eagles think that they are ready for the crowd noise 'cept they ain't factoring in Katrina, our first ever playoff bye, and 30 something years of fury about to be unleashed. The Eagles aren't even going to know what hit 'em and they won't be able to hear for a week.

I live near Philly and I'm surrounded by Eagles fans at work all day long. I think tomorrow I'm going to plat "The Saints Are Coming" over the p.a. system.

It's going to be a great game to watch! I look forward to the match for it is two good teams playing. I can get a little uptight when it comes to playing the Giants or Dallas just because I can't stand seeing them win. Next year I believe if the Eagles stay healthy the NFC East will once again be a doormat for the Eagles.

Eagles fans can get a little crazy, maybe a lot. But, being removed from the area for the last 20 years, I really can't recall except for what I hear on the news.
