drew brees came on for a few minutes on the joe horn show and i dont' know if any of yall caught it but he was talking to joe horn and said he wished he was gonna be on the field saturday night..so i guess he isn't going to play..did anyone else hear that

Dunno, all I've heard up to yesterday is that Joe is questionable for the game.
Who knows, with Payton you never know what's really going on, he may be playing can & mouse to keep Reid guessing.
I say he plays, at least I'm hoping that he does.

rbush ..... i heard it. I was hoping I was mistaken, but if you caught that too then obviously it`s already been decided that Joe is sitting this one out.. And honestly if he cant play 100% or if he goes down after 1 catch, then put him on IR and activate someone to the roster in a weak area. Receivers isnt a weak area, we got that covered. I`m a big Joe fan, would love to see him play, but it`s obvious he`s just not healed up enough to go 4 quarters.

As long as he leads the team on the field and is gettin our boyz fired up!!! I can't lie though, it still is a big dissappointment that ol' Joe can't play in our biggest game...

i heard it also. the way he said it made it seem as if the decision has been made but later on in the show they said the decision is still up in the air. but the chances seem to be that he wont play. they said he will be gametime decision and maybe getting him out on field before game since its a late game maybe he can heal enough to play. hopefully adrenaline can get him to tough it out.

I don't want to see him on IR and then if/when we make the SB he's all better but unable to play. I think you don't add him to the 48 that dress, but keep him on the active roster.

It sucks that Joe isnt going to be able to play. Not so much in what we lose at WR, but at what it would mean to him to be out there playing and contributing. He has done a lot for the city and he has been the face of the franchise since he signed here, and for him to not be able to go out there and battle with the rest of the team, it has got to be very disheartening for him. Get well soon Joe...there may be another game next week.

Bobby H just said Horn is Inactive for the game. I had hope he would be able to go.
