RE: We (fans) don

I read a Great article earlier this week that included quotes and opinions from many of our past opponents... I think one of the players quoted was Jeff Garcia.

The opinions offerred seemed to all point to one conclusion: Fan noise in the Superdome SUCKS for visiting teams.
Many of them said it was like no other place they played, and a couple said it was the toughest place they'd ever played.

I'm trying to find that article again. If I find it, I'll post it here.

If Vick's comments after the Monday night game vs. Atlanta wasn't enough saying he's never heard a crowd roar like that in his life and that the team was having problems hearing each other IN THE HUDDLE, I think every fan in here knows that we're going to be even LOUDER for this PLAYOFF game that decides who goes to the NFC championship!!! We'll let the beagles find this out for themselves....

Be loud if you're at the game!

When asked what playing in the Superdome is like, 20-year veteran NFL quarterback Vinny Testaverde laughed and said, "For a quarterback, it is as unpleasant as it gets.
"It was definitely the loudest crowd I've ever played in front of," said Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick following the Saints' 23-3 victory.
We prepared all week for the crowd noise," said McNabb. "It wasn't that big of a factor
Ok, so Chunky Soup said it wasn't a problem for him.

Billick felt otherwise. "Now having been here," he said, "there is no question this is the hardest place right now to win in the NFL.

Wow...I knew we were loud, but I didn't know we were regarded as one of the loudest across the league. I do notice that the dome crowd starts getting louder when the opposing teams goes to a huddle, like we all know collectively that we're going to disrupt their communication. Vinny Testaverde put it well... good article
