i'll keep this short and simple for two reasons, one i don't feel like typing a lot right now, and two, i don't feel like typing a lot right now.

on offense you gotta pound the middle of the field, i was shocked to see SA get those runs up the middle of the bears D the way they did, so I plan on seeing some Deuce action to help bring guys up in the box.

on D, please god get some help for thomas, can't leave him out there one on one constantly, imo it's not that big of a problem because i don't think benson or jones are as good as westbrook.

oh yeah, i like paul's idea too, but our coverage unit has been solid all year, i don't expect that to change.

Pound Deuce early to set up a flea flicker before the end of the half.
Tell Bush JUST GO DOWN if they try to punch the ball out, which they will.
Use the return of Horn as a decoy and air it out to Colston everytime he gets one on one.
If the game is close and we have fourth a 1 in Bear territory, go for it!
DON'T KICK TO HESTER!!!!

I really hope Horn is back for this game guys. Colston's numbers were way higher, with him in the game. I believe Joe to be the Xfactor in this game. Without him, our chances are still good, but with him, they are GREAT.

Short and sweet, run the ball between the tackles. S. Alexander got 100+ on them between the tackles and he runs soft. Karney and Deuce all day long. However, I will set this up early with the screen to Reggie and deep to Colston/Devery. The Bears need to know early that the Saints can pas it, so they won't plant 8 in the box.

And hit Grossman early and often. If the defense can get Grossman dancing early, the game will be over by half time.

As everyone else has already stated I think you pound Deuce and don't let up. I thought that Payton should have pounded him even more than he did against the eagles. Secondly go big at least once a quarter. Air it out to Devery or Cooper. Lastly if the D can force Grossman to turn it over early he will start to crumble.

1. Make Grossman uncomfortable. If he gets off to a bad start, he's going to be rattled for the rest of the game. He's either hot or cold. Get him to throw an early pick, and he'll throw two more later. With Grant and Smith, our chances look good.

2. Stay away from Nathan Vasher and attack Tillman all game long. He's prone to giving up the big play. As long as Devery can hold onto the ball, we'll have success with our vertical passing game. It's going to open up the running game and the middle of the field for Colston and Miller.

3. Pound Deuce. 25 touches minimum. If Alexander can have that much success running through the heart of the Bears D, Deuce should have a field day. Without Tommie Harris, we definately need to exploit them up the middle. We need to heavily rely on Deuce this game as I don't believe Bush will be affective at all against the Bears fast D. All that sideline east to west stuff won't work against Urlacher, Briggs, and Brown.

4. Utilize Mike Karney. They're going to focus on stopping Deuce and Bush... while we play action to Karney in the endzone for a touchdown. Ohhhhh yea.

5. Contain Berrian. Bullocks had a solid game against the Eagles. Though he didn't make those picks, I thought it was the best game he played all season... and the first game against Atlanta. We need to make sure we give Thomas help over the top and Bullocks will be the guy for that job. He needs to play like he did last game.

the key is rex...in games he starts off slow the team struggles...in games he starts out hot they win...blitz him early and often...make him struggle early on and we will win.

on offense just play out game and everything will work out.

There's nothing fancy about putting a nail through a board: just pick up a hammer and knock the hell out of it!

In other words, can the trick plays, reverses, options, etc and just pound the crap out of a CLEARLY vulnerable D! Deuce up the middle and Reggie around both ends. Rest Horn because we'll need him in the Super Bowl!!!

Rattle Rex, if he has time, he does make some pretty good passes. He's not that bad of a QB, he just makes stupid nervous mistakes when the pressure is on. If we can sack him, he is prone to fumble.

BLOCK. There were quite a few plays against the Eagles where we didn't block well, Stecker especially. And while we're on Stecker..........don't throw to him on 3rd in the end zone. Karney would've caught that pass.

Pound Duece. 143 yards against a stout Eagle D line, I think he can reach 100 against the Bears.

Someone, PLEASE help Thomas out there! If I see him blow a coverage like that again, I might cry. Those are the plays that cost games. Burress against the Giants, Stallworth against the Eagles. We cannot have that. (and don't think Rex can't hit Berrian or Muhammed 40 yards out without a gold jersey around for 15 yards, cause even AB could do that!).

Everyone else seemed to play awesome, and the play calling was stellar!

I think the key to this game will be the weather. If it's raining or snowing, it's gonna be a REAL tough time, and if the wind isn't too bad, Drew can explode. Colston is due for a big game.

Except an ill advised pass to Reggie in the flat (which EVERYONE was looking for) and a certain option 'pitch' play late in the game when we were trying to run the clock down.

Lots of play action... and going down the field from time to time. We will have to open it up to keep the D back and honest. You can't tell me they are not game planning and really going to concentrat on stopping our run game.

First, I would take Billy Cundiff out to dinner every night. On his napkin would be the words "Keep...away...from....Devin."

Stick the receivers at the line of scrimmage every darn play. Jam 'em up. Blitz Grossman until he has fleur-de-lis's tattooed on his jersey. He is an errant thrower when it counts and this game counts. the linebacking core will have to be sharp to anticipate everything.

First I'd try like hell to score a couple of TD's quick to put added pressure on the Bears offense.
I'd blitz Grossman often early on, hit him a few times and he'll begin his bad play, doesn't take much.
Run Deuce wild, early and often, pound the ball , something will have to give..
No pitch out to Bush are anyone else.
Line up 4 wide-outs to spread the Bears defense, some one will be open.
Have a long talk with Thomas before the game.
Wear two layers of thermal underwear.

Pass on first and second down

Run on 3rd down

The Bears COUNT on predictability - saw it all game vs. the Seahawks. Overly agressive against run on early downs, drops everyone back on passing downs. Sean Payton will put on another football clinic like the Dallas game.
